Donald Trump is not a politician. Besides being a successful businessman,he's also a celebrity,a TV personality and promoter of very important beauty contests as "Miss U.S.A." and "Miss Universe".    Donald Trump could be living a very nice life,but he loves his Country and got involved in politics.  For a person who operates his businesses from New York City,he chose the wrong side of the political spectrum (from a New York point of view): He is a conservative Republican and he is paying a price for it. He has lost business contracts and he's facing "boycotts" by certain groups and communities. However,he is in first place among 15 or more Republican candidates for President of the United States. In a recent interview,he confessed that for him,running for President is no fun,He said "He's having no fun".  Where does the success of the Trump candidacy reside?  My explanation is this one: I may be wrong,but I believe a lot of people in America think the way Trump is thinking. Many of the other candidates may think the same,but they measure their words before they speak because they don't want to offend anybody. They are thinking in terms of voting blocks (for instance: Hispanic votes,religious votes,minorities votes,etc.). Usually they use teleprompters or previously written speeches and when they concede interviews to media,they may talk too much and say too little.  The difference with Trump is that He says what is in his mind without teleprompter or written notes,straight and sincere,He doesn't repent of having said something and neither apologizes. I believe that is why he's resonating in the people. I also believe Americans are

sick and tired of professional politicians,promising everything to everybody,like Barack Obama did and the Country is in worse shape than ever. Hearing

Trump speak is like a breath of fresh air. I don't know how far he will go in the process,because the establishment of both parties are out to destroy him,but at least,Trump has forced the other to take positions and speak of things they didn't want to deeply touch before.  Remember Obama's birth certificate? Obama posted a short form in Internet to prove he was qualified to be President. Trump started talking about it in every occasion and challenging him to release the long form. Finally,under pressure,Obama released a long form of his birth certificate,(It was a fake like the short one anyway) however,it proved that Trump can force politicians to act just by using his big mouth.
